Join other teacher preparation providers for discussion, networking, and resource sharing, the day before The Reading League's Fall Conference.
Spend the day gathering information to enhance the science of reading in your courses and fieldwork, before soaking up all of the great professional learning at the conference!
Who Should Attend:
Higher education administrators (Deans, Chairs, Program Directors) and faculty should attend.
Participants who are new to the science of reading and those who are more experienced will benefit from attendance.
Goals:
- Experience a variety of opportunities for networking, collaboration and support during the Summit
- Share content & strategies for enhancing course content and field experiences
- Explore opportunities for collaborating with colleagues to align to the science of reading across courses, programs, and departments
- Access and contribute to a clearinghouse and resource bank
- Gain support for bringing information back to your program and colleagues
- Inform future activities of STARS: HE
